Talk about stealthing! Lol.
I’ll tell you why - one, because they don’t know what the hell they’re doing, and two, because they have a very limited size range at their stores and their goal is to fit as many women as possible into the bras they do have.
The average woman wears something like a 32F. F cup y’all. And yet the highest most stores carry is a DD or maybe a DDD (E cup). That’s still a size or two smaller than AVERAGE, let alone the full spectrum of people’s breasts. I’m a UK 34J. Try finding that in your average store. Can you imagine me trying to squeeze into a DD? Thats *eight* cup sizes smaller. That’s why women like me find themselves wearing like 42DD, just because they need the extra cup space, even though the band is monstrously too big. And the cups would still be too small. Our poor boobies :(
Shopping while stealthing can be dangerous. I want everything because it all looks amazing over my corset. On a side note, this is my new-ish cs-301 from OC at only like a two inch reduction and the shape is way more dramatic than I thought it would be. (Doesn’t hurt that I inherited my Nana’s hips, though. They make everything dramatic.) The 301 is the most comfortable corset I have from OC, though it does cause a little bit of muffin top (you can see a bit on my hips and there’s some on the back at the top edge of the corset that isn’t visible in this photo). It’s short, and therefore allows more movement than either of my other corsets, making stuff like trying clothes on a whole lot easier. It’s so comfortable that I completely forgot that I was wearing it for most of the day, and that includes shopping, trying on clothes, wrangling the dogs, having my hair done (3-ish hours of sitting) and several different car trips. Definitely a keeper. This will be my sleeping corset when I size down. I love it!
Carmindy from What Not to Wear is a pretty good makeup artist, but why is she jumping on the anti-paraben bandwagon?
Pro-tip: parabens are perfectly safe. People opposed to them are upset that they could produce estrogen-like effects, but they are used in such small quantities in cosmetics that it’s impossible for them to have any negative effect on you. From my understanding, you’d have a higher estrogenic effect from drinking a small glass of soymilk once a year than you would from using products containing parabens every single day during that year.
Parabens are preservatives that keep your products safe from contamination by bacteria and mold. The benefits hugely outweigh the scarce and overhyped drawbacks.
Another lovely message from someone I helped with their skin on reddit!!! I’m so happy :)))
corsetiere: Lady Ardzesz Corset
Here is the deep pink to beige sari. It’s made of Georgette fabric, so its very light and easy to wear. Great for the summer, and to wear out and about casually. Maybe even wear a white or pink or nude or black corset! There is a white and orange design on the achule/pallu that follows the same theme on the borders as well. A blouse is not included.
